A small word with great power, but. I am amazed to see what happened as a result of that word in Acts 4:18-19 "Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. BUT Peter and John replied, "Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to obey you rather than God." As the story goes, they continued to preach and teach in the name of Jesus and many souls were saved. The fact is, many still are being saved and God still uses His people to tell the world!

I cannot help but to think that it was a decision that changed the world! What if they didn’t say BUT and instead they said OKAY. What would have happened to the gospel? Oh I know what you are thinking, God would of used someone else to share the gospel. Well if we are going to live like that, we will have some explaining to do when we see God! The mark of a true child of God is one who is determined to obey God, even when it means saying no to others.

Is it better to say BUT I must obey God, or to say to God, BUT..........
